In a remarkable show of commitment to educational advancement, Nana Akosua Agyepomaa Asare, Oseawuo Nkosuohemaa (Development Queen) of Akyem Abuakwa and the Founder & CEO of Rainbow Trust Foundation, has donated a significant collection of textbooks and educational materials to the library of Abomosu STEM Senior High School.
This generous gesture is part of an ongoing partnership between Rainbow Trust Foundation and Book Aid International, UK, aimed at empowering school libraries with relevant and high-quality learning resources. Under Nana Akosua’s visionary leadership, the Foundation has supported numerous educational institutions across the region—Abomosu STEM SHS being the latest beneficiary.
The donation, which includes a wide range of carefully selected textbooks, is specially tailored to strengthen science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education. Nana Akosua, speaking during the presentation ceremony, encouraged students to make the most of the new materials, stating:
“Embrace these new resources with enthusiasm and curiosity. Every page holds the potential to transform your future.”
She further assured the school of continued support from the Foundation, with promises of more educational donations to come.
The Headmaster of Abomosu STEM SHS expressed heartfelt gratitude, recognizing the profound impact such resources have on students’ academic journeys.
“A book unread remains merely an object,” he said. “But one that is read becomes part of who you are.”
The event was graced by a number of distinguished guests who came in support of Nana Akosua’s initiative, including Nana Ayim (Akwansrahene), Nana Osei (Pomasehene Kyeame), Baafour Ayim (Pomaase Kontihene), Rev. Ayim, and Mr. Robert Amoako.
This latest donation is a testament to Rainbow Trust Foundation’s unwavering mission: to empower young minds through access to knowledge and to inspire a new generation of thinkers, innovators, and leaders.
