Rhamaniyya Islamic Basic School Receives Books-To-Go Library Donation from Rainbow Trust Foundation

In a heartfelt and meaningful ceremony held at the premises of Rhamaniyya Islamic Basic School at Community 12 in Tema, Greater Accra Region, the Rainbow Trust Foundation proudly handed over a brand-new Books-To-Go Library Package to the school’s headteacher and staff.

This initiative is part of Rainbow Trust Foundation’s ongoing commitment to enhancing literacy and promoting education through access to quality reading materials for children in underserved communities.

The donation package included:

  • 2,000 brand-new books from the UK covering a wide range of subjects and reading levels
  • 200 brand-new, award-winning local content African books, showcasing the richness of African storytelling and culture
  • 200 Books-To-Go branded book bags, designed to encourage students to read anywhere and everywhere

The ceremony was a simple yet solemn gathering, reflecting the deep significance of the moment—not only for the students and staff of Rhamaniyya Islamic Basic School, but also for the broader mission of empowering young minds through literacy.

“We are immensely grateful to the headteacher, teachers, and entire staff of Rhamaniyya Islamic Basic School for their warm reception and support,” said a representative from Rainbow Trust Foundation. “We believe that every child deserves access to books, and we’re excited to see how these resources will inspire a love for reading and learning.”

Rainbow Trust Foundation extends heartfelt thanks to all partners, supporters, and volunteers who made this possible.
