The Rainbow Trust Foundation, in collaboration with the Poul Due Jensen Foundation of Denmark, is undertaking a transformative project at the Ningo Ahwiam Municipal Assembly Basic School. This initiative will establish a library, a six-seater modern toilet facility, and a mechanized borehole, significantly improving education and sanitation standards for students and the wider community.
This comprehensive 3-in-1 project is designed to support the school in achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG-4), which focuses on ensuring inclusive and equitable quality education while promoting lifelong learning for all. The newly established library will provide students with essential learning resources, fostering literacy and academic excellence. Meanwhile, the modern toilet facility and mechanized borehole will address critical water and sanitation challenges faced by both the school and the surrounding community.
By improving hygiene standards and ensuring access to clean water, this initiative not only enhances the well-being of students and teachers but also creates a healthier learning environment. The Rainbow Trust Foundation deeply appreciates the generous support of the Poul Due Jensen Foundation in making this project a reality.
The anticipated completion date for this impactful initiative is the end of May 2025. This project stands as a testament to the power of partnerships in driving sustainable development and improving the lives of young learners.
Stay tuned for updates on the progress of this initiative and its impact on the Ningo Ahwiam community.
