RTF Congratulates Nana Agyapomaa Asare I on Her Appointment as Lions Clubs International District READ Action Chairperson

Rainbow Trust Foundation proudly extends its warmest congratulations to its Chief Executive Officer, Nana Agyapomaa Asare I, on her appointment as the District READ Action Chairperson for Lions Clubs International District 418 – Ghana for the 2026–2027 Lions Service Year, effective 1st July 2026.

The appointment, formally announced by Lions Clubs International, is a testament to Nana Agyapomaa Asare I’s unwavering dedication to education, literacy development, community empowerment, and humanitarian service. Her distinguished leadership has impacted countless lives through her work as CEO of Rainbow Trust Foundation and as President of Heritage Hands Foundation, where she has consistently championed initiatives that promote learning opportunities and social development for vulnerable communities.

In accordance with the International Constitution and By-Laws and the Standard District Constitution and By-Laws of District 418 – Ghana, Nana Agyapomaa Asare I will be responsible for leading and promoting literacy, reading, and educational support initiatives throughout the district. Her role will include supporting district-wide activities aimed at improving literacy levels, fostering a reading culture, expanding educational access, and creating learning opportunities for children and communities across Ghana.

As District READ Action Chairperson, she will also encourage strategic partnerships with schools, libraries, educational institutions, and community-based organizations to strengthen literacy development initiatives. Additionally, she will support clubs within the district to accurately and effectively report literacy and READ Action activities, ensuring greater impact and accountability.

This prestigious appointment reflects Nana Agyapomaa Asare I’s longstanding commitment to advancing education and empowering individuals through knowledge.
