On 8th September 2025, Rainbow Trust Foundation (RTF) joined the world in celebrating International Literacy Day under the global theme: “Promoting Literacy in the Digital Era.” The event was held at Prampram in the Ningo-Prampram Municipality, bringing together children, educators, and community members to highlight the importance of literacy in today’s fast-changing digital world.
This memorable celebration was made possible through the invaluable support of our partners. Book Aid International partnered with RTF to provide books and resources that encourage reading and knowledge sharing among children. Adding a special touch to the day, Indomie Ghana demonstrated its commitment to community development by serving all the children with delicious, nourishing Indomie meals. The joy and excitement on the faces of the children reflected the impact of this kind gesture.
International Literacy Day serves as a reminder that literacy is not just the ability to read and write but also the key to unlocking opportunities, especially in the digital age. With the collective effort of our partners, RTF continues to champion education as the foundation for a brighter future.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Indomie Ghana for their continued support and to Book Aid International for standing with us in our mission to empower children through education. Together, we are creating meaningful experiences that inspire hope, promote learning, and strengthen communities.
Rainbow Trust Foundation looks forward to building more impactful partnerships that will help us reach even more children across Ghana and beyond.
